This episode's introduction

[VOL.43] What if my lucky color isn't the one I like?

This is Miho Ishii, the first "Welcome to the Inner Room" of 2025! I look forward to your continued support in the new year.
It's been more than 10 days already, and I received this message:

I always enjoy listening to your programs. During the New Year holidays, I usually end up eating a lot of things I don't usually eat. What do you like the most about New Year's food, Miho?

listener

Listener Umeko

Actually, I'm not really a fan of traditional osechi, so I order osechi that is additive-free and low in sugar.
My favorite food is ozōni. But once I eat mochi, I can't eat anything else, so this year I used large pieces of tamagofu instead of mochi! When mixed with the broth, it becomes chewy and gooey, and I enjoyed it.

This is my first message. I was surprised to hear from a friend that you don't use a makeup base. I always use a makeup base, so it feels strange not to use one.
What do you think about makeup bases? Also, please let us know if there are any points we should be careful of when using them.

listener

Listener Tama-chan

This is a topic that many people are interested in! The role of a foundation is twofold: to improve the adhesion of the foundation and to prevent it from coming off, and to correct uneven skin tone and roughness. If you take good care of your skin like my friend, you may not need a foundation, but a foundation is effective in preventing dullness in the evening. Yellow-toned foundations are trending this year, so give them a try.

Hello Miho! I would like to ask you about unlucky years. This year is the latter half of my unlucky year, but last year a lot of things happened at once and I was depressed. Have you ever been worried about unlucky years? Also, please tell me if there is anything you pay attention to!

Many people are concerned about unlucky years. But I don't do any special exorcisms. It's true that many things have happened to me during years that are considered unlucky years, but in the end I think it's all about "yakudoshi" (a state of mind).
If you think something bad is going to happen because it's your unlucky year, then you're bound to feel that way, but on the other hand, if exorcising evil spirits makes you feel better, then I think it's fine to do it. Please stay positive and use the method that suits you best.

My work has become busy, and I've gained 3kg due to stress and overeating. I want to stop overeating and go on a diet, so what do you do to suppress your appetite?

listener

Listener Akane

It's tough. When you eat because of stress, it's important to first find a way to relieve stress. Also, forcing yourself to refrain from eating can actually slow down your metabolism.
I take green papaya enzymes to help with digestion and boost metabolism. Try some of these stress-reducing strategies and ways to support your metabolism!
