I always enjoy listening to your programs. I would like to know how to make boiled eggs, which was previously shown on TV.

There's no such thing as boiled eggs, but the process for making them is as follows: first, let the eggs return to room temperature.
Meanwhile, bring water to a boil, place the room temperature eggs in the boiling water and set the timer for 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
This is the most important part, after the time has passed, take the eggs out, soak them in cold water, peel them, and then soak them in a stock similar to mentsuyu (a type of noodle soup stock) and leave them to sit overnight. I use a mixture of dashi packet, oyster sauce, and smoked soy sauce for the liquid.
If you leave it in the fridge overnight, the flavors will soak in and it will thicken and become gooey.
I recently noticed that different pots cook food at different rates, so if you use a pot that cooks food quickly, the yolk may harden too much if you leave it for 6 minutes and 40 seconds. If you use a regular hot pot, this time is just right. I make it about once every two days and keep about six ziplock bags in the fridge. Please feel free to use it as a reference.

Maybe it's because of age, but my cheeks are starting to sag. What should I do?

listener

Listener: Hinatabokko Sensei

It's common to start worrying about sagging skin when you reach your 40s. Sagging skin isn't just caused by loose skin, it's caused by the structure of muscles and skin becoming fragile. The collagen, elastin, and flesh inside the skin become increasingly brittle, and when the connections between the bone, flesh, and skin on the surface weaken, the skin will sag under the force of gravity.
Recently, a muscle called the arrector pili muscle, located in each hair follicle, has been attracting attention. When this function is working properly, it lifts the entire face, but as we age it weakens and causes the pores to open downwards.
Also, if you don't use your facial muscles, it can cause sagging. It is also recommended to pay attention to your facial expressions and use a headphone-type face player.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to prevent my face from sagging and my facial lines from sagging.

Sunken cheeks are a real concern for many people in their 40s. First of all, the most important thing is not to get too thin.
I've gained 2kg since more than 5 years ago. When I look at magazines and old photos, I look slimmer before, but since I turned 40, if I lose too much weight, my face will suddenly become sunken, so I can't lose weight.
It's especially important for skinny people to eat a lot of meat. I try to make sure I get 100-200g of protein a day.

Could you tell us what inspired you to continue going to those same places like Kyoto and Paris, and why these two places have such an impact on you?

listener

Listener: Mainojisan

I'm not really the type of person who wants to travel all over the world, but I like to go back to places I like once again.
When I went to both Kyoto and Paris for the first time, I just thought, "This is it!" In particular, I went to Paris for the first time for work when I was 40 years old, and at that moment I thought to myself, "Why haven't I been here before?"
Also, Kyoto and Paris are very similar. They are both places with a strong history and culture, and I like how they cherish the old while blending it with the modern.

I've been drinking green papaya enzymes for over a year now, thanks to Miho's recommendation. I no longer feel depressed when I eat too much.
I recommended it to my younger sister, who has a habit of eating potato chips late at night, and she also started drinking it and said that she woke up feeling refreshed the next morning.

listener

Listener Akari Mama

I'm so happy! Green papaya enzymes are really amazing. I always drink them on days when I eat late at night.
If you use too much energy to digest food while you sleep at night, it's not good for your skin. It's perfectly fine to drink it every day, so please keep doing it.
