This episode's introduction
[VOL.50] Will delicious apples save the world?
How are you? This is your host, Miho Ishii.
On this program we answer questions sent in by our readers, but I have also received some questions for myself, so I would like to share them with you today.
How many hours do you walk when you go out in heels?
I was surprised to learn from Miho's previous post that she walks a lot in heels.
I also like heels and want to be able to walk in them for as long as possible, so I'd like to know any secrets.
Rather than hours, I walk around in heels all day, from morning to night, even when I travel.
Whenever I'm in public, or as my "official self," I always wear heels.
This is true not just for heels, but for any shoes, but it is very important to quickly find a last that fits the shape of your foot.
I'm sure there are high-end brand heels that you admire, but each brand has a different last.
If you find a last that makes you think, "This last fits me perfectly!", don't stick to it. Instead, choose different colors and designs from that brand, and I think you'll find choosing shoes much more enjoyable from now on.
I have a question about moles.
I've had a mole on my left eyelid for a long time, but as I've gotten older it has gradually become more protruding, and recently it has really started to bother me.
I'm thinking about getting a mole removed, but what's the best way to go about it?
Thank you for your advice.
Regarding mole removal, I have experience with it.
However, the mole will not simply disappear as if nothing had happened; the area that was removed will be left blank.
Also, you may think it would be easy to remove, but in reality, even though it is cheap and easy to remove, the mole may reappear in the same place within a year.
Apparently it had to be removed from the root, so I underwent a two-stage treatment using a carbon dioxide laser and then another rather painful laser.
There are many different types of moles, so it is very important to find a clinic that can properly identify and treat them.
Please consult with a specialist teacher.
I would like to ask you, what do you eat when you are really hungry?
Or should I just hold back and not eat anything?
If I have had a light lunch or dinner, I sometimes get hungry in the middle of the night and end up snacking on something.
I know it's best to hold back and not eat anything, but I'd like to know what you do when you really get hungry.
thank you.
I try to have a good dinner so I don't get hungry before going to bed.
However, for example, if I have work at night or a shoot is at night, and I can't eat a proper dinner or just have a light one, I might get hungry.
When I'm really hungry and want something easy to digest to fill me up, I choose a delicious apple.
Apples are big and beautiful, so if you eat one you will feel full, so half an apple is enough.
I think apples are harmless and are rich in dietary fiber, so they're actually a good thing.
When you eat other foods, it's a matter of consciousness.
You are free to eat what you want, but if you don't want to gain weight and want to hold back, I think these are the kinds of things that are okay for you to eat.
Of course, you're free to choose what to eat.
I hope I can continue to enjoy fashion and make-up and have fun forever.
However, as I get older, I find it easier to gain weight and harder to lose weight, making it harder to maintain my figure.
I feel like things aren't going as well as they did when I was younger.
I also realized that whereas before I was energetic and able to act quickly, now I have become a bit more conservative and have stopped taking risks under the guise of "stability."
I would love to hear about any challenges you can take on that only someone in their fifties can take on, or challenges that only an "adult woman" can take on to stay healthy and beautiful.
By the way, I'm not very good with exercise and alcohol.
As a challenge that only adult women can undertake, I recommend fasting to those who are concerned about fashion and maintaining their figure.
I fast once a year around spring, and I did the same this year in March.
People are often surprised by this, but there are days when I don't eat anything at all for five days.
I think the biggest benefit is freedom from dependency.
I don't drink alcohol myself, but someone who loves it and can't live 365 days a year has tried fasting in the past, and after that he said, "I stopped drinking alone at home."
He said that he enjoys drinking with others, but that he was able to completely break away from the lifestyle where he "can't live without alcohol even when he's alone." He said, "I'm really glad I did it."
I think fasting actually has many more benefits than being a diet, such as changing your way of thinking and letting go of attachments to certain things.
I love how Miho answers questions without any bias and with love.
I also take 2 or 3 packets of green papaya enzyme every day and can't live without it.
Even if I overeat, drinking green papaya enzymes makes me feel okay, and it helps me mentally too.
I will continue to do so.
I've received a lot of comments from people saying that they're glad they tried it.
I actually think that all so-called adults on the planet should be living their lives drinking green papaya enzymes.
Enzymes are essential for human life, so if we run out of them, various functions will decline and various problems will appear.
There are many types of enzymes. The reason I like and use green papaya enzymes is because they are not heat-treated.
Green papaya enzymes are made from green papayas that are organically grown on our own farm in the Philippines, which are dried, aged and fermented, then crushed and powdered.
As no heat has been added, the enzymes are actually alive and in the grains, so they really do their job - which is why I proudly recommend this to everyone.
