This episode's introduction

[VOL.52] I have no intention of stopping time.

How are you? This is your host, Miho Ishii.
On this program, I answer questions sent in by all of you, but I have also received some questions for myself, so I'd like to share them with you.

I always admire how much attention Miho pays to each of her belongings, such as her bag, shoes, pouch, and parasol, and I think they are so wonderful.
That's why I'm curious, Miho, is there anything that you don't care about, or that you think is "I'm fine with something as cheap as possible," or "I don't care about the design"?
If so, I would appreciate it if you could also tell me the reason why.

Hmm, there isn't anything that I buy without being particular about it or that I buy even if I don't care about it.
When I buy anything, I only choose things that I am particular about and that I don't compromise on design. Even with the smallest things in my daily life, such as things I buy at 100 yen shops, if there are any compromises I won't buy them.
I'm so particular about my life that people around me sometimes say that it must be difficult for me to live.
But for me, no matter how trivial or cheap the things around me may be, I feel that it's much better to have things that make me feel comfortable. If I don't feel that way, I really don't want to have anything around me.
People sometimes say it's hard, but I feel really comfortable having everything I want, so I don't think it's hard at all. No matter how cheap something is, the joy I feel when I find the perfect thing that's just right for me is just the best.

Recently, the skin around some of the acne scars I had previously has started to become a little raised.
Even when I apply concealer it becomes more noticeable and I want to do something about it, but is it really that difficult to do with cosmetics in this case?

Originally, it was an acne scar. If it turns into a blemish and becomes even more raised, it becomes difficult to hide with concealer.
Concealer only hides color, so it can't cover unevenness.
These changes are often caused by a slowdown in skin turnover (metabolism). When metabolism is in order, it is easier to maintain the brightness and smoothness of the skin, but as we age, unnecessary dead skin cells tend to accumulate, and the skin can become raised only in areas of inflammation.
When the condition gets to this stage, it may be difficult to treat it with skin care alone, so it is more realistic to consider physical treatments. One option is to consult a dermatologist about treatments such as carbon dioxide lasers.
At my salon, some customers have felt that their trouble areas became less noticeable after receiving a gentle "retouch peel" treatment. I think that being conscious of regulating your daily turnover while also taking care of your skin from the inside can also help prevent skin problems.
